Like most of Supermassive Games' releases, The Quarry introduces the monstrous antagonists by putting the protagonists in danger. This can make it easy to miss the tarot cards, historical clues, and other evidence items hidden throughout The Quarry, but this guide provides a clear list of them all.

Chapter 3 picks up after a game of Truth or Dare goes awry, leaving the group of counselors to face The Quarry's unknown danger while avoiding deadly choices. This tense story combination can lead to missing vital collectibles since the game autosaves regularly, which makes save scumming impossible.

Investigating the Woods as Abigail

Q3 Header

The beginning of Chapter 3 has lots of fun dialogue choices for the player, but it soon spirals out of control, and Abigail separates from the group. This makes up the first playable section of the chapter, with Jacob following after. In total, there are two Tarot cards, three clues, and one evidence opportunity.

Once the player gains control of Abigail, she can briefly explore the surrounding woods. Always walk straight ahead along the main path; eventually, the camera will change and reveal Tarot Card #5 on screen, but wandering too far will automatically trigger some story cutscenes. It is recommended to try a manual backup save as there is no chance to retry this section until reaching the end of the game.

Exploring the Lake/Jetty As Jacob

Q3 T2

After Abigail faces off against one of the monsters (and leaves Nick's fate up to the player), gameplay switches to Jason and Emma by the lake. Tarot Card #4 can be grabbed almost immediately once regaining control of Jacob by guiding him down the jetty. When the camera angle changes, press the command button to collect it; it's easy to spot.

From the jetty, keep walking up the path and head left along the railing to inspect Clue #4: a sign in the water. Directly opposite the sign is another clue related to the Freakshow Fire (Clue #6) sitting on a table. The final clue (Clue #5) in this chapter can be found all the way to the left behind some tables and chairs.

How to Find the Corpse Evidence

Q3 E

Getting Evidence #3 is only possible if Jacob removed the rotator arm in Chapter 1; if Jacob breaks the fuel line instead, this evidence chance will not appear. While swimming in the lake, Jacob hears a scream which causes him to drop the rotator arm.

To trigger the evidence appearance, Jacob needs to DIVE IN when given the choice, then GRAB the rotator arm. This will signal an easy Quick-Time event, and after this, Jacob will discover the floating corpse. After this, he can either PULL or DETANGLE the corpse, but the evidence will have been successfully stored either way.

Those are all the collectibles for this chapter, but the rest of the chapter contains many plot-altering choices. After Jacob flees to find Abigail, Chapter 4 will continue with more collectibles and choices for the player to discover.

The Quarry is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
