Excitement for the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian on Disney+ is as high as ever, thanks to strategically sparse marketing and also a pandemic ensuring audiences can't leave the house. To further aid in the anticipation, Disney just released some high quality character posters of the series' four main characters, also known as Baby Yoda and those other people.

With season 2 quickly bearing down on October 30th and few details revealed about its plot or new characters, fans are understandably thirsty for any new info they can find, and it looks like these posters might be all they're getting for now. However, considering The Mandalorian's near overwhelming success (including 15 Emmy nominations and a deluge of adorable collectibles), Disney's choice to keep things close to the chest will likely maximize the level of discussion when the season finally premieres.

What is known about season 2 is that Pedro Pascal's titular Mandalorian, Din Djarin, is on the run from Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) and the rest of the Imperial Remnant he commands. Gina Carano's Cara Dune and Carl Weathers' Greef Karga are sure to play important roles as well, after helping the two during season 1. The upcoming season is also set to feature some impressive guests, including Rosario Dawson, Katee Sackhoff, Temuera Morrison, and Timothy Oliphant. While nothing is officially confirmed, rumors have heavily speculated that Dawson will play Ahsoka Tano from the Clone Wars series, while Sackhoff may be reprising her role as the Mandalorian Bo Katan from the same show. Meanwhile, Morrison, who played Jango Fett and all of the clone troopers in the Star Wars films, is expected to play fan favorite Boba Fett.

First up is the Mandalorian himself, Din Djarin (played by Pedro Pascal). As is expected, his outfit doesn't appear to have changed since season 1. This is the way, after all. Aside from upgrading one's armor from time to time like he did early on, Mandalorians largely stick to one look. That's not to say the character himself hasn't changed, though it would be difficult to tell with a poker face like that.

Like Djarin, Cara Dune keeps her appearance from the first season. Frankly, she seems the sort of character who finds something that works and sticks with it rather than prioritizing variety, and her practical outfit demonstrates that mindset. Fans are sure to be excited for more action from this former shock trooper in the coming season.

Greef Karga, on the other hand, seems more the type who isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty, but still wants to look good while doing it. He clearly took pride in the bounty hunter work he distributed to Djarin and the others in the guild, but luckily his moral compass won out. He takes a practical but rather elegant outfit like this and keeps his hand on his blaster, and baby he's got a stew going.

Finally, the reason most people are probably here in the first place. The Child (known unofficially as "Baby Yoda") captured the hearts of viewers everywhere with his eyes full of wonder and mouth full of frog. It's not often that a character like this comes along, and even less often that one can basically justify a show's entire existence single-handedly. But considering the love from kids to adults to everyone's grandma, it's no wonder The Child became such a standout. Here's to another season of adorable green goodness.
