For the past six weeks, The Last of Us has been setting records for HBO. However, the video game adaptation has now equalled Game of Thrones with a less noteworthy milestone. The Last of Us episode six featured a slight filming and editing mistake similar to the former's notorious Starbucks cup episode. It certainly took a lot less for The Last of Us to incur this error, as the Game of Thrones cup incident didn’t happen until episode 4 of season 8, the series’ highly criticized final season. However, The Last of Us director Jasmila Žbanić's faux pas might be harder to spot. In any case, it’s not as if House of the Dragon didn’t also make mistakes. The Game of the Thrones spinoff’s notorious CGI blunder came in episode 3 when many more people noticed that Paddy Considine's green gloves had not been edited out to showcase King Viserys amputated fingers.RELATED: The Last Of Us: What Happened To Tommy After the Outbreak? So, what was The Last of Us' big omission? Well, in response to a tweet by series franchise creator Neil Druckmann relishing over fan reaction to a big The Last of Us 2 easter egg, a fan (@stjguitarist) posted a screenshot that shows members of the filming crew in what is supposed to be a desolate, snowy Wyoming landscape shot. The exact scene in which this error takes place comes around the 13:10 mark on “Kin,” The Last of Us' stellar episode 6. However, it’s up to each fan to decide how noticeable it is in the bigger picture shown below.

Some viewers on Twitter said they don’t mind the error at all. However, Scott T. Jones, who first spotted it, said he’d prefer to have it edited out and reuploaded to HBO Max, which was the message he conveyed when he first messaged Druckmann. In the past, HBO has fixed these mistakes by editing out the Starbucks cup in Game of Thrones or simply completing the CGI work in House of the Dragon's case.

Once other fans began dissecting every minute detail in the episode, another person argued that when Joel and Ellie enter the college campus on horseback, some people can be seen moving across the many windows. Nevertheless, it’s arguable whether this is a mistake or if these people are the bystanders who ambush the two protagonists during the entry. Regardless of these tiny bloopers, The Last of Us continues to be a hit among fans of the games and newcomers to the series.

The Last of Us airs on Sunday at 9:00 PM EST on HBO and HBO Max.
