Without a doubt, PlayStation fans have plenty of exciting PS4 exclusive games to look forward to in 2018, but the fan-favorite titles The Last of Us: Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima have yet to be given official release dates for the platform. Be that as it is, should a recent post on the official PlayStation Sweden Facebook page be accurate, then both of the aforementioned games could wind up launching this year.

As seen below in the screenshot of a post from the official PlayStation Sweden Facebook page from earlier in the week, a translation of a video's description states that The Last of Us: Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima will make this an "incredible PlayStation year." Naturally, this is far from confirmation that either of the titles will have launches in 2018, as regional social media accounts aren't exempt from getting information wrong. Nevertheless, the fact that the games are mentioned alongside other projects with confirmed release dates for this year is worth noting.

About a couple of months ago, The Last of Us: Part 2 director Neil Druckmann discussed the game at PlayStation Experience 2017, with the Naughty Dog developer revealing that the sequel is about 50 or 60 percent completed, suggesting that a release in 2018 is somewhat unlikely. And with very little information about Ghost of Tsushima having been shared so far, save for details about the title's themes, setting, and main character, it would be quite surprising if the Sucker Punch title launches this year.

All things considered, it's best to take this rumor involving The Last of Us: Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima receiving release dates this year with a pinch of salt, especially since Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch have yet to even share launch windows for the titles. Nevertheless, should we hear about these two major PS4 exclusives coming out this year, it's highly likely that Sony would save the announcement for E3 2018.

The Last of Us: Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima are currently in development for PlayStation 4.
