Wheelhouse Entertainment, a media group that has worked with several big television shows, has announced their intention to work with a Tik Tok Collective known as "The Hype House" in order to produce a docuseries with the group. This news comes at a critical moment for Tik Tok affiliates, with President Donald Trump threatening to ban the company from operating within the U.S. if they are not purchased by a company within U.S. borders.

A Tik Tok Collective is a new phenomenon that should still be familiar to social media users. Basically, a group of content creators for a specific media platform get together and pool their funds to live in a communal home where they collaborate and create new content for their fans. This has the benefit of both boosting content production as well as creating a recognizable brand, such as "The Hype House," which can be used for further marketing and support. The concept is quite popular among independent content creators, with similar "Houses" cropping up for influencers, live-streamers, and all kinds of groups with specific niche interests.

If that seems confusing, don't worry, the docuseries itself purports to be an inside look into all the members of the house and their own personal creative endeavors, offering a look behind the scenes of what a Tik Tok Collective is and what it does. While the group still plans to continue their usual social media projects, members claim the docuseries would allow fans to go "far beyond what they see on social media."

The upcoming docuseries will be titled The Hype Life, but there are no current plans for when or where exactly the show will launch. All that is guaranteed is that the partnership between Wheelhouse Entertainment and The Hype House has big ambitions, with the President of Wheelhouse remarking: "Hype House is a creative rocket ship, piloted by extremely hard-working, business-savvy young adults who have already built incredible audiences that both platforms and brands can tap into." In the meantime, fans can view The Hype House's usual social media content on their various Tik Tok accounts while they wait for more news.
