Warner Bros. was recently at CinemaCon to unveil a new look at its upcoming slate. Among the teases shown at the event was new footage from The Flash with Michael Keaton's Batman, as well as glimpses at Baz Luhrmann's Elvis and Timothée Chalamet's Wonka.

The Flash footage wasn't the only DC-related news to come out of CinemaCon. As previously reported, The Batman 2 was officially announced at the convention, with Matt Reeves on hand to confirm the sequel.

However, Keaton's Batman also had his turn in the spotlight during Warner Bros.' presentation. In a brief trailer for The Flash, attendees witnessed scenes of "wild crashes, a bending universe, [and] young Superman," as The Hollywood Reporter put it. Towards the end of The Flash trailer, a familiar scene of Ezra Miller's Scarlet Speedster asking Keaton's Batman if he's going to join them plays out. However, unlike the DC FanDome preview from 2021, CinemaCon's new trailer shows a gray-haired Bruce Wayne wearing his Batman suit without the mask, saying, "You wanna get nuts? Let’s get nuts."

Luhrmann and Austin Butler's Elvis was also heavily promoted during the presentation, with Luhrmann even taking the time to praise Reeves' The Batman while noting that he views Presley as a superhero of sorts. "Elvis is the original superhero. He comes from dirt and in a few blinding moments, rises so high, finds his kryptonite and falls so low," Luhrmann explained. During an Elvis clip shown at the CinemaCon presentation, Tom Hanks' character echoes the sentiment by saying, "In that moment, Elvis the man was sacrificed and Elvis the God was born."

CinemaCon attendees were also given a preview of some of the songs featured in Chalamet's Wonka prequel. "Is everybody ready,” Chalamet's Wonka asks through a voiceover in the opening moments of the new footage. Fans were then shown glimpses of a young Willy Wonka in what THR describes as "a fantastical adventure filled with singing, dancing and clashes with authorities in a quest to spread chocolate to the world."

Unfortunately, none of the footage mentioned above hasn't been released to the general public as of this writing. However, the response to Warner Bros.' presentation has been generally positive, so it seems fans have a lot of great WB content to look forward to in the coming years.

The Flash is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 23, 2023.
