However, a new rumor making the rounds online claims to leak a lot of information about The Elder Scrolls 6, though fans should take it all with a massive grain of salt.
The leak comes from Reddit user ToddIsMyMom, who made the claims in a large post about both The Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield. In the post, ToddIsMyMom says that The Elder Scrolls 6 takes place in Hammerfell, High Rock, and Yokuda, with the landmass seen in the teaser trailer being the latter. The leaker reiterates a previous leak that claimed that The Elder Scrolls 6 subtitle is Redfall, and says that the main quest will revolve around Direnni Tower.
The leaker then goes into more details about The Elder Scrolls 6, denying rumors that the game will utilize procedural generation and comparing the crafting system to Fallout 4. They then add that The Elder Scrolls 6 release date will be some time in 2025, though if the game was that far off, it seems unlikely that this leaker would have so many details about it this early in development. Needless to say, this casts a lot of doubt on the veracity of these claims, and so fans should keep their expectations in check.
The Elder Scrolls 6 full production is believed to have started just recently, as Bethesda went on a hiring spree of sorts, leading to speculation that the company was now devoting more resources on the project. However, we know that Starfield will release before The Elder Scrolls 6, so it will likely still be quite some time before fans get any new information about the long-awaited game.
While fans wait for official details from Bethesda, it's quite likely that there will be many more rumors and supposed "leaks" that come out about The Elder Scrolls 6. The simple fact that fans know the game is in the works breeds this kind of thing, and things will only intensify as the years go by. Maybe Bethesda will look to address some of these rumors by revealing some new details about The Elder Scrolls 6 at its E3 2020 press conference, but fans shouldn't hold their breath.
A much more likely scenario is that Bethesda will reveal more about Starfield at E3 2020, but even that isn't certain. Fans will just have to stay tuned to find out.
