After a brief delay, the first The Division 2 raid, Operation Dark Hours, is set to launch imminently, and many squads are certain to now be preparing for the newly revealed The Division 2 raid release date. While the bragging rights that come with being the first team to clear Operation Dark Hours is sure to be enough to motivate many of these squads, Massive Entertainment has sweetened the pot further by announcing a reward for the world first completion.

Specifically, the first squad to clear The Division 2 Operation Dark Hours raid will have their "team photo and names displayed in The Division 2's White House for all players to see," a press release from Ubisoft announces. Indeed, the squad that shows the most preparation, dedication, and skill, will not only be granted first access to The Division 2 raid loot, they will also have their characters immortalized in-game.

While this very special prize is reserved for only one squad, it is not the only reward for completing The Division 2 Operation Dark Hours raid. Those that finish the raid within a week of its launch, from May 16 to May 23, will be granted a "commemorative Arm Patch," and anyone that finds their way through Operation Dark Hours thereafter will receive a "clan banner icon and a trophy in their clan space."

Coming hot on the heels of The Division 2 Title Update 3 release date, which brought a great number of changes to the game, Operation Dark Hours is the title's first eight-player content. Without question, many players have been champing at the bit to jump into the Washington National Airport with their squads, and these additional rewards mean there is even more reason to do so, for the most committed and casual players alike.
