It's now been a month since The Division 2 launched and developer Massive Entertainment is ready to release a milestone content patch for the game. Come May 16, The Division 2 players will be able to experience the game's first raid, Operation Dark Hours. The highly anticipated raid, which tasks eight Division agents to conquer multiple challenging objectives and bosses, isn't all that's being introduced with the patch, however, as the newest The Division 2 trailer makes clear.

According to today's trailer reveal by Ubisoft and Massive, Operation Dark Hours will include the brand new raid first and foremost. Within the raid, three new gear sets will be made available as well as the new Eagle Bearer exotic assault rifle. The trailer teases some of what will be found within the Operation Dark Hours raid, but leaves much for players to discover on their own.

In addition to the content found within the raid, The Division 2's second Apparel Event will also begin on May 16. Apparel Events offer exclusive cosmetics to players who are active within the game, content gone after the event ends. The new Dark Hours Apparel Event will offer 5 new Outfits and 1 new Uniform, 2 masks, 4 emotes, and 8 weapon skins for players to unlock. Players will likely have less than a month to earn keys, so there's no time to waste.

Finally, arriving May 14 as part of the first of The Division 2's two big patches will be Classified Assignments. This content is exclusive for The Division 2 Year 1 Pass holders, the premium pass for the game. Classified Assignments are story content, offering a look into events within Washington D.C. from before the player's Division agent arrived. Two assignments, The Nelson Theater and the National Bond Bank, will be available later today.

Combining The Division 2's two patches, today's huge balance, fix, and adjustment patch and May 16's raid patch, players have a lot to look forward to. Of course, Operation Dark Hours marks the end of The Division 2's first round of post-launch content, the Invasion: Battle for D.C. chapter. Expect to hear more on Episode 1, D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions in the relatively near future.

The Division 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
