The lore of The Dark Pictures Anthology runs deep, and the newest game in the series called The Devil in Me, only adds to it. Hidden along the whole path of the story, players will find hidden obols, lost secrets, and premonition pictures.
One of the many collectibles in this survival horror game are evidence secrets. There are a total of 50 of these secrets hiding throughout the game, and players will need to collect all of them in order to get the trophy or achievement. But some of them are pretty difficult to find.
Evidence Secret 1
Found in: Pool.
The first wedding ring is in the pool-changing area by the twitching dummy. The second can be found in the curing factory after climbing to the second floor. Head right and find an obol, then proceed deeper into the room. The wedding ring will be on the floor in this co-op horror video game.
Evidence Secret 2
Found in: Waste Disposal.
After moving the box of mannequin legs, The Devil in Me character named Charlie will need to duck through the hole to the next room. Look to the left along the wall on the floor for a badge.
Evidence Secret 3
Found in: Workshop.
After walking out of the room with a mannequin that screams at Mark to Press the Button, players will walk through to a small office. On the desk, there is a white card.

Found in: Workshop.
Immediately past Evidence 3, there is a shelf along the back wall near the exit door of this little office. Pick up the photo and flip it over.

Found in: Morellos.
Kate, played by Jessie Buckley in The Devil in Me, in the second room, attached to the vanity mirror.
Evidence Secret 6
Found in: Workshop.
After picking up evidence 3 and 4 in the little office off of The Devil in Me's creepy animatronics workshop, players will walk into a red-lit room. Immediately turn left to find this evidence on a table.
Evidence Secret 7
Found in: Director's Suite.
After the three women find themselves in the heart of this murder hotel where the Halloween-esque serial killer of The Devil in Me watches everyone in the hotel, the game will play a cutscene. Once the cutscene is over, head to the right. Keep going past the mug with the paper on it (evidence 47). The next table will have this badge on it.
Evidence Secret 8
Found in: Reunion.
Kate and Jamie have finally made it to the lighthouse. Before finding Charlie, they walk through a kitchen area. There is a note on the kitchen table.
Evidence Secret 9
Found in: Cliffside.
In the same room as the gold-framed premonition picture that has a spoiler scene for the next The Dark Pictures game called Directive 8020, this secret is locked in a drawer. Have Charlie unlock it and pull the medical records out.
Evidence Secret 10
Found in: Island.
At the very beginning of the game, when Kate and Jamie go off on their own to search the creepy horror game town surrounding the murder hotel, this shoe will be in the first section of this portion, on the right side of the trail.

Found in: Cliffside.
Just before the room with the tape recording in the curing factory, there is a medical curtain. Pull it back to reveal a body in a glass case. There will be a note on the desk to the right of the body.

Found at the hotel's check-in counter before Charlie heads into the bar area to steal some cash for cigarettes in The Devil in Me.

Found in: Scouting
After walking through the clean part of the library near the beginning of the story of The Devil in Me, Mark and Kate will come across an unfinished part of the library, still under construction. Walk straight through the door to the back of the room, and there will be a recording device on the table next to the door with broken glass in it.

When players walk into the bar, head to the right. On the same wall as the door will be a little table with a newspaper on it.
Evidence Secret 15
Found in: Blood Trail.
Jamie and Charlie follow the blood trail into the dark corridors. After Charlie says, "Maybe that's our dinner," to the blood stains on the floor, the pair will walk forward. Charlie will have to turn right. At the end of this hallway, the paths will branch to the left and the right; turn right again. At the end of the hall will be both an obol and an FBI memo.

Found in: Cliffside.
In the curing factory, walk past the medical curtain that blocks the body in the glass coffin. There is a room with a desk in it; this recording is on the desk.
Evidence Secret 17
Curator's Cut Only: Found in: Party.
This evidence is inside the safe in the office during the chapter Party in the Curator's Cut, with the code 1918. Jamie, one of the many familiar, reused face models in The Dark Pictures, is the character in this chapter. This evidence is not available on the first playthrough.
Evidence Secret 18
Found in: Silver Ash.
This evidence is located in the office of the Silver Ash Institute. When Erin enters the room, she can turn right to look at the desk or left to look at the window. This memo will be to the left, under the window, on the window's table.

Found in: Cigarettes
Found in the drawer in the lobby behind the check-in counter. This drawer is locked, so it must be opened by Charlie.

Found in: Island.
Found while searching the island in the very beginning by Kate and Jamie; it is by the room with the hazardous waste boxes.

As Kate and Mark look for some great lighting to shoot, players will walk by a clock that gongs very loudly. When standing next to the clock, look to the left; there will be a desk with an H.H. Holmes book on it. Pick it up.

Walk into the room and walk straight forward, around the bed. There is a book on the floor underneath the window.
Evidence Secret 24
Found in Separated.
When Jamie and Charlie are in the butchery, walk past the hanging pigs and look in the far right-hand corner. There will be a wrapped-up body of a child. Interact with it, then move the camera around until Charlie focuses on her feet. There will be a nametag there.

Found in: Workshop.
Found when Mark falls down to the workshop and looks for a way to escape; this head will be on the mannequin parts shelves to the right. This is one of the items that players may not be able to find if they lose one of their characters to a horrible death scene in this horror game.

After uncovering the secret passage from under the statues, head into the secret room. This paper will be on a bench near the ladder.

When Jamie is almost caught by the killer through the one-way mirror, this will play automatically.

Curator's Cut Only: Found in: Party.
This is found near the safe in the same room as Evidence 17. Look for an office when Jamie and Charlie get separated. It will be on the desk in the office in Party during the Curator's Cut. This is not available on the first playthrough.

After walking past the loud clock, players will be forced to turn left at the end of the room to proceed. On the shelf to the right is a book, too high to reach. But Mark can use his monopod to knock the book down from up high.

Climb over the wall near the trolley and find the little house. It's inside the house on the floor.

This construction invoice is inside the creepy maintenance room that Jamie walks into looking to fix the power that she accidentally broke. Walk into the room and walk to the back of the room. This The Dark Picture Anthology secret will be on the floor to the right.

Once Erin and Charlie make it to the stairwell, there will be a table in the hallway with this invitation.

These photos are found as soon as Charlie unlocks the cage he is in with the cage key. Unlock the door and look immediately to the left at the two workbenches. There are two photos, and players will need to look at both.

After walking up the brick stairs, Mark will enter a door into a home-like space. Look to the right, there is a piece of paper on the desk immediately inside the doorway.

This memo will be in the creepy maintenance room that Jamie complains about the moment she steps inside. This room also has another fusebox puzzle for Jamie to sort out. Immediately inside the entrance to the right will be a work table with this memo on it.
Evidence Secret 40
Found in: Director's Suite.
On the second floor of the director's suite, there are clipboards with H.H. Holmes' outfits tacked to the wall. Interact with them to get this clue.
Evidence Secret 41
Found in: Spa.
As Jamie and Mark look for a way to get back to Kate, they will find rooms with mannequin versions of the dead construction workers. The first room is a woman, and there is a letter on the floor inside the entryway.
Evidence Secret 42:
Found in: Incinerator.
As soon as Charlie unlocks his cage, look to the right. There will be a Log Book for KD construction. Flip through all the pages to unlock the secret.

Found in: Cigarettes.
This will also be in the bar where Charlie is looking for smokes. If players have just entered the door, it will be in the far left back corner of the room. Head to the bar and look left. There will be a table with a mug on it; pick up the mug and move it to get this secret.
Evidence Secret 44
Found in: Homestead.
Found by Kate and Jamie after the Maze when they are looking for a way to the lighthouse. Climb up onto the cliff to walk across the fallen tree. If players have learned to beat the balancing mini-game in The Devil in Me, this should be easy. This ID will be on the ground after the balancing puzzle.

Found in: Staff Only.
Jamie will walk into the maintenance room, and she can open up the door to her left. This will lead back into the little office space with a desk and corkboard where the key code for the fusebox puzzle is. Look for a drawer in the desk; this evidence will be inside.
Evidence Secret 47
Found in: Director's Suite.
After the three women find themselves in the heart of this murder hotel, the game will play a cutscene. Once the cutscene is over, head to the right. On one of the desks, there is a mug with some paper under it. Pick up the mug and look at the emails underneath.

After restoring the power, Jamie will head back to the room with the curtain. Press the big button on the wall now that it has power, and the four singing animatronics will be revealed. This secret is on the stage, on the ground next to the mannequin, furthest to Jamie's right.
