For Valentine's Day this year, The Boys sent fans a grim reminder of how hard it can be to lose love by sharing a picture of everyone's favorite love killer: A-Train.The Boys shared a picture of the speedster supe to viewers for Valentine's Day, thus sending a reminder of how awful some of the supes can be when they have enough power because they can remove the one thing that many people can't live without once they find it - love.RELATED: Seth Rogen Credits Marvel With Helping The Boys ExistOn The Boys' Twitter account, they tweeted out, "Night, happy couples," with a standard picture of A-Train posing for a photo-op. While the picture itself is just a typical picture of A-Train, they intentionally used him because A-Train has destroyed quite a few relationships, including one of his own, thus continuing The Boys' dark sense of humor. A-Train has been instrumental in ruining multiple relationships throughout the show's run since the beginning.[EMBED_TWITTER]https://twitter.com/TheBoysTV/status/1625328225516929024?s=20[/EMBED_TWITTER]While high on Compound V, A-Train accidentally ran into Hughie Campbell's girlfriend, Robin, ultimately disintegrating and killing her. Then A-Train killed his girlfriend Popclaw when he realized she betrayed him (by force) by giving top-secret information on Compound V to The Boys. He also ruined Homelander's relationship with Stormfront after he exposed to the public that she was a Nazi. Each relationship he destroyed was not so much because he's an irredeemable monster but as a means to an end to retain his status as a popular supe. Throughout The Boys' first two seasons, his standing with Vought is what he cared about most. However, even though A-Train has caused so much irreparable pain and damage, The Boys did a masterful job in its third season demonstrating that he could be turning over a new leaf. The third season started with A-Train finally getting back into The Seven, which he wanted, only to realize that several teammates have no respect for him, especially Homelander. Adding to his dilemma was his developing realization that many Supes have been abusing their power, him included, for years, and it's starting to hit home. This inspires him to atone for his wrongdoings, including genuinely apologizing to Hughie for what he did to Robin and avenging his brother after Blue Hawk ruined his life.A-Train's next chapter should play a part in why the story in The Boys season 4 should only build more fan excitement. In the previous two seasons, A-Train was an antagonist who was so wrapped up in his image that he was willing to do whatever it took to keep himself in the limelight. Now he's gone through believable character development and realized that those with superpowers might abuse that privilege. So now, he has a shot at redemption to become the hero he always projected himself to be.The Boys seasons 1-3 can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.MORE: Kang The Conqueror: Everything You Need To Know Before QuantumaniaSource: The Boys/Twitter
