As The Batman’s premiere approaches, the film has already put out most of its trailers and teasers, yet when it comes to fan-made content there’s still a lot to go around including a spectacular LEGO trailer that recreates Matt Reeves’ Batman vision almost frame by frame.

Thanks to the familiarity between LEGO and Batman, it’s not hard to imagine the two universes coming together, however, the level of artistry the creators of this clip possess might be just enough so many don’t feel robbed over the cancellation of the LEGO Batman 2 movie. If this all sounds too familiar, it’s because back in 2020 the same YouTuber created a LEGO version of The Batman's first trailer, and now they’ve come back with much more footage.

The blueprint for this magnificent creation made by Joebor1777 is none other than the main trailer released during the past DC FanDome last fall, and the end result is just as impressive as that preview was back when it dropped. Whether it’s the intimate scene between a blocky Selina Kyle and Batman, the Riddler’s reveal as the main villain for the film, the Penguin car chase, or the sheer brutality in Batman’s combat style, this special trailer will only induce more hype ahead of the movie’s premiere this week.

If the footage wins over anyone, it’s probably because of the hard work Joebor1777 and at least 15 other animators put in to give life to this fantastic homage o the Gotham Reeves wants to create in his movie. As the director has been quoted on recently, The Batman is the product of Warner Bros. and DC allowing Reeves to realize this movie exactly the way he wanted, solely based on his experience as a filmmaker and fan of the franchise.

Judging from early impressions before and after The Batman’s review embargo was lifted, Robert Pattinson will easily pass his first test as Bruce Wayne as most critics have shown nothing but praise for the movie. If these creators have someone to thank for the inspiration that made this LEGO homage possible, then The Batman’s cinematographer Greig Fraser is probably at the top of the list, as his work has been widely complimented by the

If The Batman is not right up one’s alley, then Joebor1777 has a full channel packed with clever LEGO renditions that include several Marvel properties and Star Wars too. Naturally, it helps that The Batman’s trailer is accompanied by Michael Giacchino’s beautiful score, which is also out in the wild by now.

The Batman is scheduled for release on March 4, 2022.
