The series delivered some of the most memorable lines in television history. Many of which are still quoted by fans of the show today. Eric Forman was the main character of the friend's group and was often the butt of jokes. But he also had a snarky wit that allowed him to deliver some of the most memorable quotes of the series.

10 I Love Cake

Topher Grace as Eric Forman

Eric Forman was the master of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time on That 70s Show and nothing demonstrated that better than this line from episode seven of season two appropriately titled I Love Cake. Donna tells Eric she loves him, and Eric responds with "I love cake."

This, of course, leads to a major fight between Eric and Donna because that is a terrible response to being told someone loves you. What makes this line so great is how Hyde, Kelso and Fez react to it when he tells them during their basement circle.

9 Holy Mother Of Skywalker

Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti. Debra Jo Rupp as Kitty Forman. Topher Grace as Eric Forman.

Eric Forman is the ultimate nerd and that works to both his advantage and disadvantage in episode 24 of season seven entitled Short & Curlies. Eric is getting ready to leave for Africa, but Donna has planned a special surprise before he leaves. As she presents herself dressed as Princess Leia, he delivers this gem of a line.

In true Eric Forman fashion, everything about this episode goes wrong for him. The episode ends with Eric and Donna running out of the house; Eric is wearing a stormtrooper helmet and no pants. Once again, when it loos like Eric is catching a break, he ends up embarrassed.

8 You Already Have A Such Career As A Whore

Topher Grace as Eric Forman

Eric and his sister Laurie have a very adversarial relationship, and that leads to a lot of snark between them. Eric delivers this line when Laurie is having trouble babysitting in episode seven of season three entitled Baby Fever.

Laurie just can't figure out how to get the baby to stop crying and talks about not wanting to have children. Eric, never missing a chance to snipe his sister explains why he thinks she wouldn't want to be a stay at home mother in the future.

7 Sticks And Stones May Break My Bones, But Kelso Nailed Your Sister

Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti. Topher Grace as Eric Forman.

After years of being the butt of jokes because of Kelso's relationship with Laurie, Eric finally gets to snap back at Hyde. In episode ten of season seven of That 70s Show entitled Surprise, Surprise, Kelso is now entering a relationship with Hyde's newly found sister, Angie.

Eric starts delivering variations of the same digs that Hyde had been throwing at him for years. He notes how he finally understands why Hyde kept poking fun at him, because it was fun for him when the insults could be lobbed at someone else.

6 And I Wish I Was An octopus, So I Could Put Eight Feet In Eight Different Asses

Kurtwood Smith as Red Forman. Topher Grace as Eric Forman.

Normally, it's Red delivering the foot in ass lines, but in episode 12 of season six entitled Sally Simpson, Eric, played by Topher Grace, delivers this line to Red. The pair is trying to lower Red's stress levels and the pair decide to role-play as each other.

The entire exchange is great with Red taking Eric down a peg referencing his smart mouth and his love of Star Wars. Meanwhile, Eric tears apart Red's go-to lines of foots in asses and dead commies.

5 Well, It's Mainly For Survival. But I Also Enjoy The Fruity Taste

Kurtwood Smith as Red Forman. Topher Grace as Eric Forman.

Eric delivers a perfect sarcastic line when Red asks him about eating in episode 17 of season five entitled The Battle of Evermore. Eric and Red have been at odds ever since Red found out Eric and Donna were engaged.

Red asks Eric what he's doing eating when he walks into the kitchen as he's still very upset with Eric. But Eric delivers this line before he and Red get into an argument about the hubcap on the Vista Cruiser and how Red is controlling Eric's employment and mode of transportation.

4 Mmm. Bacon!

Topher Grace as Eric Forman

While Eric and Red love each other, their relationship could certainly be adversarial. That was never more evident than when Red was on a diet in episode one of season six entitled The Kids Are Alright. Red is recovering after having a heart attack and must change the way he eats. Eric decides to poke the bear by pointing out that he can still eat bacon while Red can only eat ham.

This is only topped by Kitty making a special waffle breakfast for Eric in an effort to get Eric to stay home from college. It ends up working and Eric stays to help take care of the family. But for a brief moment at the kitchen table, Eric and Red are able to be Eric the snarky teen and Red the grumpy dad again.

3 There Are A Lot Of Amish People, But They Never Raised A Barn

Danny Masterson as Steven Hyde. Topher Grace as Eric Forman. Wilmer Valdarama as Fez.

This is the best in a series of quotes from Eric and Hyde as they are making fun of Kelso. This took place in episode 16 of season three entitled Romantic Weekend. Kelso was supposed to be having fun with Pam Macy, but he experienced a little trouble along the way.

After Kelso tells the rest of the guys what happened, Fez is having trouble understanding what Kelso meant. Eric and Hyde step up with several metaphors to describe the situation. This is the one that helps Fez understand, so he can join in making fun of Kelso.

2 We'll Take Two Rings And A Misdemeanor's Worth Of The Other Stuff

Topher Grace as Eric Forman

Leo can provide anything the guys want. Eric and Kelso are looking for some nice rings to give to Donna and Jackie in episode 25 of season three entitled The Promise Ring. When they learn Leo is the guy that can sell them what they want, they are caught off guard until he tells them everything he can sell them.

Eric and Kelso eventually find what they want, even though it will come with dire consequences for Eric and Donna's relationship going forward. But before they leave, Eric makes sure they get something else they can use in the circle along with the rings.

1 God, What Did You Have For Breakfast This Morning? Carnation Instant Bitch

Topher Grace as Eric Forman. Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti. Wilmer Valdarama as Fez.

Eric and Donna were the ultimate item on That 70s Show, but during their breakup, the pair could tear into each other. Eric delivered this line after being insulted by Donna in episode five of season four entitled Bye Bye Basement.

After Eric delivered a nice burn to Fez about a shirt he was wearing, Donna decided to mock Eric. That backfired when he delivered this line that led to approval from Hyde for his burn. Eric and Donna both had biting wit that was normally directed at others, but they pulled no punches when targeting each other either.
