Its early access time in the world of the new Pokemon-like MMORPG Temtem, and already players are rushing to capture the latest and greatest creatures available to them. But along their way, Temtem players have noticed that certain Temtem are out of their reach, and swimming in the water. What this implies to Temtem players is the existence of a water-walking, swimming, or surfing mechanism, but how does one accomplish this feat?

Pokemon introduced the concept of surfing in its first generation, and Temtem seems to have taken notes. The game's devs were nice enough to put a surfboard in the game, and all players need to know is where to find it.

How to Get the Surfboard

Temtem players can rejoice knowing that they can traverse the waters in high style. The process of obtaining the surfboard isn't too complicated, and really just involves the completion of a single campaign mission. For any Temtem players that fear spoilers, the best thing they can do is just keep playing, as they'll inevitably come across the item.

Temtem players should make their way to Arissola, which is the third town that they'll find along their journey to becoming a Temtem champion. Within Arissola lies the Arissola Dojo, along with its champion Sophia. Sophia, however, is off on her own journey in the Windward Fort, and is in need for rescuing. This is where Temtem players come in.

Temtem players should make their way over to the Windward Fort, where they'll rescue Sophia. Upon completion of this task, players should make their way back to the Arissola Dojo, where they'll have to defeat her in a battle.

Succeed, and Temtem players will find themselves with a brand new surfboard.

How to Surf

For Temtem players, using the surfboard is one of the coolest experiences available during this early access period. Players won't even need to press any buttons, and can just simply carry the surfboard with them everywhere. If players find a Temtem they cannot access due to an invasive body of water, then they'll simply just need to walk into the water.

It's a seamless addition to Temtem as the surfboard gets used automatically when players attempt to enter into water. The controls are exactly the same as they are on land, and players can surf the waters to their heart's content.

Temtem is available now on PC in Early Access. There is currently no release date for the official launch.
