Telling Lies, which is the follow-up to the 2015 hit indie game Her Story, was initially launched for the PC and mobile devices in August 2019. The game focuses on an immersive narrative that revolves around four characters engaged in a mystery. Now, publisher Annapurna Interactive has just announced the release date of Telling Lies for the PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, which falls on April 28, 2020.

Telling Lies revolves around solving a mystery via piecing together four interviews that are delivered through full-motion video (FMV). The game features an in-depth narrative and stars four actors that deliver the game's story and feature a dietetic computer screen interface that players will interact with in-game. Of course, given that Telling Lies is described by its creator as a "desktop thriller," it is interesting to see how the console version of the game will replicate the same vibe from its PC and mobile counterparts.

The release date was announced via a trailer, which shows players what to expect in this mystery game. During its release back in 2015, Telling Lies' predecessor Her Story was regarded as one of the best indie games of 2015 due to its spellbinding story and unique gameplay.

Telling Lies is available now for the PC and mobile devices, and will release on PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, on April 28, 2020.
