With Tekken 7 having come out for PC yesterday and dropped for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today, publisher and developer Bandai Namco Entertainment has decided to celebrate the occasion by putting out an official launch trailer to commemorate the release of the seventh installment in the long-running fighting game for the platforms. The availability of the title's launch trailer follows shortly after an overview trailer that gave players a comprehensive idea of what the game contains.

As seen in the launch trailer below, though, the primary focus is on the numerous bruisers and brawlers that fans can choose from when they pick up a copy of Tekken 7. Of course, while the base game already includes 36 playable characters, Bandai Namco has confirmed that there will be an even bigger roster as time goes on as more DLC guest characters are to arrive starting this summer.

Generally speaking, Tekken 7 is garnering solid reviews, with many critics expressing that the seventh installment is a major return to form for what many believe to be the best fighting game franchise in existence. With this being the case, the latest sequel in the series will undoubtedly be a popular title to watch as it's featured during EVO 2017 in July.

Taking all of this into consideration, it's quite likely that a plethora of PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One fans are going to spend the majority of their upcoming weekends exploring all that Tekken 7 has to offer, which makes one wonder exactly how many copies will be sold across all of its platforms at launch. So, with NetherRealm Studios having recently released its own fighting game in Injustice 2 a couple of weeks back, it will be interesting to see if Tekken 7 manages to outsell its current rival in the DC Comics-inspired brawler.

Tekken 7 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
