Activision and Platinum Games release four new trailers for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan that show off the abilities of all four turtles.

In just a couple of weeks, Activision will be launching the Platinum Games-developed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan. We haven't seen much of the game since its May 24th release date was announced a couple of months ago, but now a new set of trailers are available, each one showcasing a different turtle.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will allow players to control each of the four titular turtles: Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael. However, choosing which turtle to play in TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan's 4-player co-op mode may be tough, but perhaps players can make a more informed decision by watching the new set of trailers, which include closer looks at each character's abilities.

The turtles' abilities seem to reflect their personalities. For example, Michelangelo's attacks are a little goofy, with him jumping on the shoulders of enemies to punch them repeatedly in the head, and also unleashing a special attack that involves pom-poms. Leonardo is strong and quick, able to hit enemies with a devastating flurry of katana strikes. Raphael, meanwhile, is more of a brawler, and seems to have a rage ability that likely increases his attack power and defense for a limited time.

Out of all the turtles, it seems as though Donatello's move set will be the most diverse. He will be able to use his traditional bo staff in combat, alongside an array of specialized weapons and gadgets. These include an energy shield, a bazooka that fires balls of electricity, and the ability to create a large digitized version of himself that can smash multiple enemies at once.

Besides showcasing the special abilities of the playable turtles, these new trailers also give players a better idea of what enemies they will encounter. Previous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan trailers focused on the bosses, but this latest batch of trailers shows us some of the lower-ranking villains as well. These include various Foot Clan warriors, rock soldiers from Dimension X, robotic enemies, and more.

In any case, these closer looks at the four playable turtles in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan should help players prepare for the game's launch in a couple of weeks. Time will tell if the game will enjoy as much praise as Platinum's Transformers game, but judging by these trailers, it seems the studio has nailed the feel of the TMNT franchise.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will be available on May 24th for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
