Marvel Studios and Disney Plus have already given fans a brief glimpse at Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk. Now, Maslany has confirmed some details on how She-Hulk will be brought to life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For those who don't know, Jennifer Walters is a very talented lawyer and also the cousin of fan-favorite Bruce Banner/Hulk. After Jennifer Walters suffers a life threatening injury, Bruce Banner ends up donating his blood through a blood transfusion in order to save her life. Bruce's gamma-irradiated blood is what causes Jennifer's mutation into what fans now know as She-Hulk.

Maslany will be playing Jennifer Walters in the She-Hulk series and potentially future projects as well. During an interview on the Scott Hasn't Seen podcast, Maslany confirmed that She-Hulk will be a fully CGI character, meaning no makeup or prosthestics. Maslany also said that the show is drawing inspiration from Dan Slott's and Charles Soule's She-Hulk comic book runs. This means it's a great balance between the vintage or classic stories and the newer recent plot. In addition to Maslany, the upcoming show will also star Jameela Jamil as Titania, with returning actors Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Tim Roth as Abomination.

The She-Hulk character is known in the comics for being green, tall, and incredibly strong. However, unlike some versions of Bruce Banner's Hulk, She-Hulk is able to retain her human or conscious mind while transformed. Maslany's character is also able to talk and communicate just like she would when she's not in her She-Hulk form.

Knowing that Marvel Studios is going all out with the CGI in the same way that they've done with Hulk is good news for those who were worried. For some reason, fans were afraid that since She-Hulk is frequently in her titan form in the comics, Marvel Studios would just paint Maslany green and call it day. Marvel Studios is known for going all out with the VFX, so this news shouldn't necessarily come as a surprise.

She-Hulk will hopefully be able to deliver in typical Marvel fashion and get fans talking about the new project. Hopefully, at the very least, She-Hulk will attract a major new fanbase because the character is worthy of garnering the greatest amount of fans and many people are going to gravitate towards her.

She-Hulk is expected to premiere on Disney Plus in 2022.
