Just like all the other Tales series that came before it, Tales of Arise is filled to the brim with surprises. There are tons of collectibles like special armor sets for Alphen and his friends, cosmetic and battle-based accessories, and more. Even once players are done exploring all that's there in one playthrough, there's New Game Plus to encourage them to do it all over again. As fans aim to get everything the game offers as fast as they can, some items remain a mystery until they find the answer, such as just what the "key to a hidden chamber" unlocks.

The fans that have taken down the Polycephus Zeugle in the Riville Tower dungeon are rewarded with this key, but the name has no acknowledgment of what it unlocks. Its description gives no clues either, only saying they got it from the Prison Tower, leaving players to wonder just how long this key will be with them for their Tales of Arise playthrough.

The key doesn't belong to any of the other realms. In fact, it's meant to be used in the same dungeon players got it from. The "hidden chamber" the key is attached to is in the Riville Prison Tower's office. Any curious players who investigated the bookshelf in the back were told that they "felt a breeze coming from a keyhole," and now they've got the key that fits.

Adventurers won't get this key until they've beaten the side-quests "Culling the Snowplain Herds" and "Survey Says…," with the latter requiring that the Zeugle in the dungeon be dealt with. They can't fight the two-headed dog enemy until prompted by the quest. The tasks can be received from Bregon once the realm's Lord is defeated and Cyslodia is liberated.

Depending on how long it takes some fans to get to these quests in Tales of Arise, they may be curious about the door for some time. What lies beyond the door is fairly simple, but it may help fans with collectibles once obtained.

Still, players should be careful if they go after the Zeugle for the key. Gigant Zeugles are rather strong, and there's a chance fans may be a bit too under-leveled to take on the Polycephus right away. With the powerful weapons Tales of Arise has in its arsenal, as long as gamers have the right equipment and armor, it shouldn't be a problem at all.

Tales of Arise is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
