Bandai Namco Entertainment has made yet another critically acclaimed JRPG with Tales of Arise, breaking records everywhere such as the record for concurrent players for Tales games on Steam. While fans seem to be enjoying the title, some quests are a little more annoying than they bargained for. Here's the answer for a quest that plays tricks on the eyes of gamers at first: how to find the medicine in the Kyrd Garrison Guardhouse.

After forming an alliance with Shionne and freeing Calaglia by beating the first of many bosses in Tales of Arise, a girl named Rinwell shows up at the resistance's doorstep, sick and needing help. This launches a story-driven quest to help her keeping fans from heading to the next realm that involves some back and forth between areas, as well as careful eyes.

How to Find Medicine in the Kyrd Garrison Guardhouse

The Kyrd Garrison Guardhouse may confuse players with that name. The mission doesn't refer to the small area guarded by a wolf and two soldiers. It refers to a bigger area found as players take a side path around the gate they entered from that's perfect for gathering ingredients in Tales of Arise.

Once there, fans may notice the lack of a quest star, but that's the tricky part. The star won't appear until players are close enough to the medicine in question, found at the foot of a bookshelf by a bed on the right-hand side of the room.

The map above gives a general location fans can get to on their radar in order to find it. Being in that area should get the quest star to show up, and from there, they need only let a cutscene play, take it back to the doctor in Mosgul to make sure they got the right one, and head back to Ulzebek.

Once Rinwell wakes up, fans won't have to wait any longer to venture onwards as the new girl joins Alphen's journey to Cyslodia, the next area. The realm is coated with ice and snow and serves to have more difficult challenges for the players ahead.

Hiding the star needed to find the quest item is the most frustrating part about this quest, and Tales of Arise doesn't end with it there. For the gamers who thought this quest was confusing, they may not enjoy what Elde Menancia has in store for them when it comes to story quests, which is next after Cyslodia.

Tales of Arise is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
