Tales of Arise's newest trailer, however, is focused on the game's battle system and how the characters fit within it. The video also gives a look at some more specifics of the features of Tales of Arise's new battle features. It gives fans a glimpse at the new Counter Edge system that allows players to deliver counterattacks after dodging as well as Boost Attacks that make for big strikes at the end of combos. The video also goes into detail on how the team used new motion and facial capture technologies to better capture the characters and cinematics throughout Tales of Arise. They discuss how they hope that the new technology will help players build deep connections with some of Tales of Arise's diverse cast of characters.
