Tales Noir is filled with multiple different ways to find enjoyment in an MMORPG. Players who enjoy hunting down tough monsters or defeating difficult Dungeons and Bosses will find themselves at home. There are tons of Dungeons and Bosses in the game and some even have higher difficulty options for those seeking more challenge, and rewards, of course!

Tales Noir players have access to a farm, where they can grow crops of their choosing, mine ore, or even cut trees to craft items. However, this guide will be more focused on knowing which Classes are the best to choose.

5 Assassin

Tales Noir Assassin

Assassins are one of the best classes when it comes to PvP (Player vs. Player) due to their slipperiness and high Burst Damage. However, when it comes to PvE (Player vs. Enemy) content, which makes up a majority of the game, Assassins aren't bad, but they fall short in comparison to nearly all the other classes.

Having low defenses while having to get up close and personal with enemy mobs and bosses can prove quite hard to survive tough encounters. Although Assassins are fairly mobile, kiting and running around cuts down on their DPS output, and worrying about dying swiftly will also make Assassin users feel a bit uneasy in unmarked content.

4 Sorcerer

Tales Noir Sorcerer

Sorcerers are pretty good at PvP due to their long-range, high damage, and CC (Crowd Control) effects. However, they have very low defenses and can be taken down swiftly if not prepared for an incoming attack. Sorcerers are also good at PvE content, especially Defend the Princess.

Having access to multiple AoE (Area of Effect) and CC abilities makes clearing trash mobs a breeze and can even help in Boss Battles. Using the teleport skill allows Sorcerers to quickly evade harm's way, especially against Bosses with quickly charged special attacks. Although the Sorcerer is unmatched in AoE damage, the most important PvE content in the game currently revolves around taking down a single enemy, which makes their amazing AoE capabilities not as relevant as a class that can specialize in Single Target damage.

3 Hunter

Tales Nor Hunter

Hunters aren't the best in Arena PvP, but they can do exceptionally well in Battleground-oriented PvP in a coordinated environment. Launching attacks from a long range to pump out consistent DPS makes them one of the biggest threats in a team if left unchecked.

However, without much protection, they can be taken down with ease due to their low defenses. In PvE content, Hunters are the best at dealing damage to bosses. Their single target DPS is unmatched by any class, and it will pay off to have a Hunter in any dungeon party. Since bosses have Berserk meters and shield buster mechanics, having a DPS such as a Hunter is always recommended in a party, regardless of the content being challenged.

2 Knight

Tales Noir Knight

Knights are great at Arena and Battleground-oriented PvP. Boasting the highest defenses in the game makes the Knight Class a staple to any team in all content. Knights have great CC capabilities, can draw aggro to protect their damage dealers, and can buff the defenses of all of their allies. They even have access to a dash, giving them superior mobility over most classes in PvE content. They are required to complete most dungeons efficiently; otherwise, most players will be vulnerable to being killed in 1-2 hits from a Boss.

The Knights' damage isn't the best, but it's nothing to scoff at either. Knights are also very beginner-friendly and are a great starting class to help players learn the game by experiencing Event and Dungeon mechanics. Since Knights don't go down easily, they can take a lot of hits and learn the proper ways to dodge confidently to efficiently clear all types of content.

1 Musician

Tales Noir Musician

Musicians are what most would call a Healer or Support class. They can provide massive heals and buffs to themselves and allies, which also makes them a staple of any team for all content. In PvP, they are a godsend, being able to keep entire groups alive in Battleground-oriented fights or even keep themselves alive for prolonged periods of time in Arena -- they should never be looked down upon.

Musicians' damage output is the lowest of all classes, but they more than make up for it with their utility. In PvE content, players will feel the difference if there is a Musician in the party or not. Almost all the difficult content in the game cannot be completed without a healer, making them extremely vital to the success of any group. A great Musician player paired with a good Knight player will make clearing Dungeons and defeating Bosses seem like a breeze.
