Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction was the sixth entry in Ubisoft's Splinter Cell franchise. Like its predecessors, the game puts players in control of troubled protagonist Sam Fisher. However, the game differentiates itself from its predecessors by putting less emphasis on stealth, the style of gameplay that the series was built upon.
