Work on ‘STALKER 2’ has ceased after GSC Game World closed its doors today. However, a group of their veteran developers has founded Vostok Games and is already at work on MMORPG look-alike ‘Suvarium.’
Reports are coming in that ‘STALKER 2’ developer GSC Game World has closed it’s doors and all development of the anticipated title has ceased. The studio has yet to give an official response regarding this news.
PC gamers have a lot to put up with these days, but one of the most prominent issues is that of DRM. Following in Ubisoft’s footsteps, GSC Gameworld is considering using always on DRM for their upcoming release, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2.
Scavenger, Trespasser, Adventurer, Loner, Killer, Explorer, Robber is officially receiving a full sequel, says GSC Game World. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be a true sequel to the original, keeping the main themes that have built such a large cult following.
