What is Ghost Recon: Wildlands?
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is the tenth entry in the long-running tactical shooter franchise Ghost Recon from Ubisoft. Developed by Ubisoft Paris, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is the first game in the series to feature a completely open world for players to explore at their leisure, which they are able to do in four-player online co-op or offline with three AI-controlled companions at their side. While exploring open world Bolivia with friends or the AI, players will be tasked with carrying out dangerous missions against enemy combatants where they will experience the game’s unique blend of both first- and third-person shooter gameplay mechanics.
As players fight their way through Bolivia as the elite squad known as the Ghosts, their main goal will be to dismantle the powerful Santa Blanca drug cartel. In the world of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, the Santa Blanca have managed to take control of Bolivia by collaborating with the corrupt local government. After an American DEA agent is murdered, the United States deploys the Ghosts to destroy the drug cartel with the help of a CIA agent in Bolivia and the Santa Blanca resistance group, the Kataris 26.
