What is Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy?

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a platforming game from developer Vicarious Visions and publisher Activision that collects remastered versions of the classic PS1 titles Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The core gameplay in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is identical to the original games, with players completing challenging platforming levels as the titular Crash Bandicoot, battling a roster of colorful bosses, and hunting down elusive collectibles like diamonds and gems hidden throughout the themed game worlds. Crash Bandicoot goes through all this trouble in order to stop the nefarious plans of the villain Dr. Neo Cortex and other evildoers in all three games in the trilogy.

While most of the gameplay is identical between Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and the original trilogy of PS1 games, the remastered collection is bringing some new bells and whistles for fans to enjoy. These new features include vastly improved graphics that take advantage of current-generation hardware, a modernized save and checkpoint system, the option to play the games in 4K resolution, and brand new time trials to give each level added replay value.
