This trailer for Tactics Ogre: Reborn was uploaded on Square Enix's official YouTube channel, with some regions calling it the "Final" trailer before it releases. Players embody the role of a young knight known as Denam Pavel, whose homeland of the Valerian Isles has been besieged by the Galgastani and Bakram-Valerian forces.

This story trailer features some of the re-recorded orchestral music, along with snippets of the new voice acting players will hear in the various cutscenes of Tactics Ogre: Reborn. This includes major characters like Denam himself and allies like Canopus. Brief moments of gameplay are also shown, where players travel across the land while taking on the many foes and making decisions that can affect the branching story paths that will affect the ending of the game.

Many fans are hyped for this tactical JRPG revival, with many noting how much love and attention had been done to not only preserve the original experience, but also add some modern conveniences. Many are hoping that since Tactics Ogre: Reborn is getting a remastered release, this can lead to a remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics, though that remains to be seen. Others are hoping other entries of the Tactics Ogre series could also get a similar remastered treatment as well
