This month's already had its fair share of good news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, including the fact they'll be able to get their hands on Stardew Valley, Evil Genius 2: Console Editionand Aragami 2 in the coming months. However, it seems another addition has joined the lineup of releases slated to hit Game Pass, with Bossa Studios confirming that Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas is headed to the service.

As revealed by a post over on Xbox Wire, Access All Areas will hit Game Pass on the day it launches, with subscribers able to jump into its wacky world on September 2. For those who missed it, the comprehensive version of Surgeon Simulator 2 was officially announced last month, with the new release marking the game's debut on consoles.

As for what Game Pass subscribers can expect when booting up the sequel, Surgeon Simulator 2 allows up to four players to venture into the operating theatre and perform an array of outlandish surgeries. Of course, they'll have to struggle with the franchise's notoriously chaotic physics-based controls, as they attempt to stop their patient flatlining while completing increasingly complex procedures. Players can hop into a campaign mode or party mode, with both offering different ways to enjoy Surgeon Simulator 2's gameplay.

They can even create their own custom levels and scenarios that they can share with the Surgeon Simulator 2 community. In celebration of the news, Bossa Studios has even made its own Xbox-themed map to show off the feature, with the level coming complete with a towering Xbox Series X. Surgeon Simulator 2 was originally an Epic Games Store exclusive when it launched last year, so Access All Areas is sure to welcome an influx of new players when it heads to Xbox Game Pass, the Microsoft Store, and Steam.

As mentioned earlier, Game Pass is slated to get a host of big games over the next few months, with August alone seeing time-bending thriller Twelve Minutes and zany platformer Psychonauts 2 make their way to the service. September will then offer an additional lineup of releases, including stealth-based action title Aragami 2 and stunning open-world adventure game, Sable.

Subscribers will even be getting a huge AAA release in Back 4 Blood this October, with the highly-anticipated multiplayer shooter hitting Xbox Game Pass the day it launches. While they wait for the Fall lineup, Game Pass subscribers can hop into several huge games right now, including Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Red Dead Online, Skyrim, Sea of Thieves, Doom Eternal, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and many more.

Surgeon Simulator 2 is out now on The Epic Games Store, with Steam and Xbox versions slated to launch on September 2.
