Capybara Games' latest digital title, Super Time Force, is now available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One and it's totally with your time. In our review, we applauded the retro Contra-esque gameplay for its complex and interesting use of time to make the dreaded concept of time limits a fun and manageable part of the game.

We also highlighted some of the cool and dynamic gameplay mechanics built around the idea of going back in time and replaying parts of missions with multiple versions of your character or other unlockable characters and playing alongside earlier versions yourself. It's like multiplayer but by yourself, and it's difficult to appreciate and give it its due recognition using only words.

So, above is a quick look Super Time Force gameplay video where I play through a complete mission of the game. In it, you'll see the different characters and their abilities highlighted, our missions are divided into stages with at least one boss battle, and how players are rewarded with a real-time replay of the mayhem, which really puts the gameplay mechanics into perspective.

As you can see from the beginning of the video, after the into mission the game offers a mission selector. It works with the idea of time that you can play these in any order and the missions are very diverse in their aesthetic, unlockable character, enemy character, bosses and platforming mechanics. For this video, yes, we're going back in time to save the dinosaurs. Check it out and share your thoughts in the comments below!

Super Time Force is available no on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Game Rant played the Xbox One version for review.
