November is bringing with it a brand new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter in the form of SNK's Terry Bogard. However, a specific Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Terry Bogard release date has yet to be announced. That being said, there is some evidence to suggest that the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter will be added to the ambitious crossover fighting game as early as this coming Friday, November 1.

The evidence comes from Nintendo itself, as the company has listed an SNK copyright for the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit event. This is an indication that SNK characters will be featured as Spirits in the next event, which would likely mean that Terry Bogard would be added at the same time. But before fans get too excited, we must caution that it's possible that this SNK copyright is just a coincidence and that Terry might not come to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate until later in the month.

Previously, there was a rumor that the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Terry release date would actually be November 13. This is supposedly the date for the next Nintendo Direct presentation, though nothing official has been announced by Nintendo so far. The leak claimed that the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Terry release date would be announced for that very day, with the character made available shortly after the presentation.

This would be similar to what Nintendo did with Banjo-Kazooie, who were added to the game right after the company's last Nintendo Direct. Whether the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Terry release date is November 1, November 13, or some other day remains to be seen, but either scenario is plausible.

Once Nintendo reveals the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Terry release date, it will give the company the chance to focus on the fifth and final Fighter Pass character. The Fighter Pass DLC 5 has yet to be revealed, but there have been countless rumors claiming to reveal the character's identity. Some claim that the next DLC fighter is Waluigi, whereas others say it's Tales of Symphonia's Lloyd. Others still believe that Crash Bandicoot is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate next, but fans will just have to wait for an official announcement from Nintendo to know for sure.

With November 1 just a few days away, we won't have to wait long to learn if that's the release date for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Terry Bogard DLC.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
