Nintendo has finally revealed that the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC 5 character is none other than Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. As is typical of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighters, Byleth will be coming to the game with his very own stage, which was revealed and detailed alongside the new character.

Unsurprisingly, Byleth's stage in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is based on Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Upon downloading the Byleth DLC, players will have access to the Garreg Mach Monastery, which is split up into a few different areas: the Marketplace, Reception Hall, Bridge, and Cathedral, with the game rotating through these different areas.

The Marketplace will have Blue Lions House guests in the form of Dedue, Dimitri, and Ingrid. It will also contain vendor booths that players can destroy to create more fighting room on the battlefield. The next area is the Reception Hall, inhabited by Black Eagle House members Dorothea, Edelgard, and Petra. In the Reception Hall, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players can knock down chandeliers and destroy tables.

Next players will be able to visit the Bridge, which is occupied by the Golden Deer House members Claude, Hilda, and Lorenz. And finally, the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fire Emblem DLC stage will take players to the Cathedral, where they will find Seteth, Rhea, and Flayn.

The Garreg Mach Monastery DLC stage for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the Byleth DLC weren't the only things showcased by game director Masahiro Sakurai today. The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director also pulled the curtain back on some new Mii Fighter DLC costumes that are coming to the game, based on Cuphead and various Ubisoft and Capcom video game franchises.

It was also revealed that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Volume 2 will keep the game supported through 2021, and will contain a whopping six new DLC characters, bringing the total up to 11. This means that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans can likely look forward to at least 11 more DLC stages as well, so it will be exciting to see what new battlefields Sakurai and his team dream up for the ambitious crossover fighting game.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is out now, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
