A fan-made cinematic reveal trailer shows what Golden Sun's protagonist Isaac would look like if he joined the Super Smash Bros. fighting game. The Super Smash Bros. community is an active one, especially in the fan-made animation and modding side. This is evident with Super Smash Bros. Brawl's hacking scene, which has been ongoing since 2009 and still is getting mods to this day. One of the biggest mods is Project M, where after it was forced to cease, it spawned offshoots of modders working on their own variations.

One of these variations is known as PMEX REMIX, which adds a number of different characters from Nintendo's franchises as custom characters. Some of these additions even come with special cinematic trailers modeled after the ones from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in terms of presentation. One of these trailers was created by King Bob Gaming that depicted Golden Sun's Isaac joining the fray.

Golden Sun is a dormant franchise that has had its protagonist represented as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros., with Isaac using his ability Move to push opponents off the stage. He's been a fighter that has been requested many times to join but has always ended up in the assist trophy category. Many believed his magic and abilities from his home game would make him a unique fighter. This cinematic trailer shows off a storyline of how he would join, along with the moves he'd use in this mod.

The cinematic trailer itself is quite impressive, having a high amount of detail and quality that is on par with some of the professionally made trailers for the Super Smash Bros. series. While the cast of characters puts up an impressive fight against Master Hand, it isn't until Isaac uses his Move ability to hold it back and turns the tide of battle. This cinematic even references an iconic location from the Golden Sun series, an Elemental Lighthouse, rising out of the ocean. Isaac himself even gets a special piece of cut-in art that is custom-made for the trailer as well.

The mod's gameplay is shown near the end of the trailer, where it is using the same model from Brawl, but with a number of custom moves and animations. This includes spells from Golden Sun such as Move and Quake. The trailer notes however the mod is still a work in progress and will be released at a later time. The very end of the trailer teases another character that will get a fan-made cinematic as well. The last shots focus on the moon along with using Majora's theme, meaning that Skull Kid from Majora's Mask will be added as a custom character to Super Smash Bros. with a similar cinematic trailer from King Bob Gaming as well.
