As E3 2018 inches closer, information is slowly starting to come in regarding what each of the major publishers are going to be bringing to the table. While many developers in attendance are sure to have all kinds of secret projects waiting to be revealed, Nintendo will be squarely focused on a title announced earlier this year, Super Smash Bros. for the Switch, which will be open for attendees to play.

Today Nintendo detailed its plans for this year's expo, not only laying out its schedule but also revealing what fans can expect to play. During the convention hours between the 12th and 14th of June, fans can venture to Nintendo's booth and get first hand experience with Super Smash Bros. on the Switch.

Of course, this won't be the only game available to the brave souls willing to wait in the sure to be extremely long lines of the Nintendo booth. Though the company didn't give specifics, Nintendo says "a variety" of other titles will be available for fans to enjoy. The developer also stated that many other third party titles will be featured "across several Nintendo activities throughout the week" though neglected to mention if these titles would be playable.

As per usual, Nintendo will kick off the convention with the annual E3 Direct presentation, which will air Tuesday, June 12 at 9 a.m. PT. Soon following this presentation, which will be a pre-recorded video, Nintendo's Treehouse Live event will begin, which features three days of gameplay, interviews, and reveals all streamed live.

This isn't the first fans have heard about the highly anticipated fighting game being playable at E3 this year. Little over a month ago Nintendo announced that it would be hosting a Super Smash Bros. tournament at the expo between June 11th and 12th. Seeing as how the tournament will be an invitational, many thought Super Smash Bros. would not be made available to the public but it seems these fears were unfounded.

E3 2018 is set to be a big year for Nintendo. After several big announcements, like a Pokemon title for the Switch or Metroid Prime 4, fans are going to be expecting more information regarding these titles, if not more unknown reveals. With the high Nintendo has been riding since the release of the Switch, the Grand Father of game developers isn't going to let that hype fade anytime soon.

Super Smash Bros. will be released on Nintendo Switch in 2018.
