Nintendo may have given fans worldwide their second look at The Super Mario Bros. Movie, but some lucky folks in the Netherlands and on Twitch have received access to bonus Mario footage.Despite a two-minute trailer for the Super Mario Bros. Movie already being out in the wild, it’s hard to give people too much Mario, hence why it’s no surprise these couple of teasers quickly spread online. Although the two ads don’t add up to 50 seconds worth of screen time for Mario, both commercials do provide a deeper look at Illumination's Mushroom Kingdom and Bowser's headquarters. The ads also showcase more lines from Chris Pratt, Keegan-Michael Key, and Kevin Michael Richardson, who plays the Magikoopa Kamek.It bears saying Nintendo released an official dubbed trailer in Dutch. However, subtitled movies tend to be much more popular in the Netherlands, which is probably why the TV spot dug up by GameXplain includes Dutch subtitles. In the ads, Toad briefs the hero on Bowser's plans, referring to his kingdom as The Darklands. That other teaser is also the first time Richardson's Kamek is heard, with the veteran voice actor taking on the beloved Bowser minion, whose origins date back to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.Perhaps one of the more striking takeaways from these two extra clips is fan discourse online, as some people seem to be warming to Pratt's voice compared to the reaction that followed both Nintendo Direct trailers. To be fair, those two trailers saw Pratt limited to spitting out Mario's signature catchphrases, whereas he talks a bit more to help his voice tone come together better in these new ads, all things considered.Pratt's voice performance was backed by another accomplished voice actor, Khary Payton, who plays the Penguin King in the Super Mario Bros. Movie. Still, none of that has stopped many fans from voicing their preference for the Portuguese, Italian, and French versions of this Super Mario.The Super Mario Bros.
