With only several weeks until its official release, fans are itching to know and see more of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. With the game's story and gameplay already revealed to the public by Nintendo, the company has shared still images of the game with its audience, in all of its hi-resolution glory.

Despite being a remake from the original Wii U platform, the Nintendo Switch version of Super Mario 3D World will provide fans with a whole range of new features. Nintendo has decided to upgrade the game's visuals to fit the hardware capabilities of the Switch, and also add extra playable content. Specially packaged with the Bowser's Fury expansion, an extra add-on that was not part of the original title, old-time fans are likely eager to see and experience the modern rendition of the game.

Some of the newly uploaded screenshots feature the different stages that players will encounter as they play through Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. This includes a water stage that requires players to ride a water Yoshi in order to maneuver around the area, and several platforming levels whose designs are clearly inspired by the cat thematic found in Bowser's Fury. Other screenshots also put a focus on the other characters such as Mario's famous brother, Luigi, and the unlockable fifth character, Rosalina.

With the game's co-op mode one of the most-anticipated features of the game, Nintendo also shared some stills of how other characters will look like in the player's world when in multiplayer mode. This includes having the entire gang of Mario, Toad, Luigi, and Princess Peach running about in the open world map, and even around the newly revamped Captain Toad levels from Super Mario 3D World.

With 2021 being Super Mario Bros.'s 35th anniversary, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is definitely one of the most awaited games of February. Luckily, with the game's release just around the corner, fans do not have long to wait until they can finally get their hands on another Super Mario game.
