The global puzzle phenomenon that is Wordle seems to be everywhere these days. Not only has it been making consistent daily rounds on social media since the beginning of 2022, with millions of users sharing their results with friends and fellow players, but it seems even some of Hollywood's most successful blockbuster filmmakers are getting in on the Wordle action too. However, while one would think being an award-winning writer of popular shows such as Peacemaker would make a player the master of the literature-based puzzle game, it seems that Wordle can even stump the professionals. For the uninitiated, Wordle is an easy-to-play word game puzzle that is difficult to master. Every day, players are assigned a five-letter word to guess within six tries. Each letter is colored green, yellow, or gray after each guess: green shows that the letter is correct and in the right position, yellow shows that the letter is in the answer but not in the right location, and gray reveals that the letter is not in the answer at all. Long-time players all seem to have their own best strategy for Wordle, so do not worry if the game starts rather tough at first.RELATED: Wild Wordle Clone Features 25 Letter WordsAmong social media users on Twitter, many made tweets regarding the difficulty of the Wordle for April 11, 2022. With no duplicated letters and two total vowels, the answer for yesterday's puzzle was the noun "SQUAD." Being a term used to define a group of people who have a shared particular task, one would assume that if there was one person who could have quickly nipped that Wordle in the bud, it would be none other than James Gunn the director and writer of the acclaimed superhero film The Suicide Squad.

However, even Gunn hilariously had trouble cracking yesterday's Wordle, despite playing a big part in the production of a movie that shares the word within its title. In a recent tweet posted from his official Twitter account, Gunn stated that although he does not "post these things," his attempts at solving the Wordle are "just embarrassing." The image attached in the tweet is a screenshot that discloses Gunn's Wordle endeavors, with it taking four guesses before he connected the dots to it being "SQUAD."

In summary, funny moments like this prove that whether or not the player is an award-winning writer or just a casual puzzler, Wordle can get the best of most players regardless of its rather simple premise. Thankfully, there are quite a number of Wordle tips and tricks around that players can take advantage of, which makes it much easier to guess the answer in as few tries as possible.
