Throughout Subnautica: Below Zero, there are plenty of secrets hidden away in the depths of the seas for fans to find. When it comes to the Architect Artifacts in the game, they also offer unique rewards for dedicated adventurers.
In total, there are 15 different artifacts and special rewards after scanning a certain amount. Players get the Quantum Locker after scanning two artifacts, the Recyclotron after scanning four, the Ion Batteries and Ion Power Cells after scanning six, and the Tether Tool and Seaport Teleportation Module after scanning ten.
To start, players need to travel to the Delta Island south of the drop pod at the coordinates -129 / 4 / -577. The Alien Statue, in particular, is located in an underground mining site that requires some tricky navigation through lava geysers. So for Subnautica fans who need a little extra help, here is an easy way to get to the artifact.
Players must get the Depth Module Mark 1 Seatruck to be able to dive at 300 meters deep to find this artifact. Once acquired, travel down the ravine towards the first lava geyser from the dock. Once there, turn around until the next pathway is visible and go through. Then, at the fork in the road, take the left-hand path and go northeast towards the second geyser.
Head straight into the geyser until another passageway opens up towards the southeast and continue that way. Keep going straight, descend towards the first available geyser, and then head southeast once more. There should be a room with multiple geysers; this time, go down north towards the oxygen plant and turn left.
Through here, go south and make a left from the geyser at the end of the tunnel. There will be a room with a ton of stalagmites, the access point for the mining ground being towards the bottom left tunnel. Go into the other large room and head west towards the rails. There should eventually be a point where the rails turn left, but keep going straight towards the cave entrance on the right.
There will be a smaller pathway blocking the rest of the path to the artifact, so fans will have to leave the vehicle and swim solo. Keep going through the path, and there should be a large statue in the middle of the room surrounded by lights. Players should be at the coordinates -252/300/-611 upon reaching the alien statue. Once there, just scan the statue for a couple of seconds, and the mission will be complete.
