A creative Subnautica fan with a love for LEGO has designed and built their own model of the Seatruck, a modular underwater exploration vehicle which was seen for the first time by fans in Subnautica: Below Zero. This isn't the first time that avid Subnautica fans have created LEGO sets based on some of the assets found in the game, as many of the game's biomes, creatures, and vehicles have provided plenty of inspiration for fans to create sets for.

The Seatruck itself is just one of several Alterra-branded submersible vehicles that players can manufacture in the games to better explore the rich and diverse oceanic world that is planet 4546b. Serving as something of a hybrid between the Seamoth and Cyclops submarines seen in the original game, the Seatruck allows players to create and attach a number of different modules that each serve a unique purpose. These helpful compartments include storage modules to store equipment and materials, fabricator modules to manufacture tools and cook food, and even an attachment that allows players to bring their Prawn Suit along with the Seatruck.

The LEGO set was designed by a user on Reddit named Breadcrumbofmidgard, and features the fan-made LEGO submarine in all of its glory. The post includes three images of the build, which shows the main cabin of the Seatruck, the cabin with some modules attached, and the individual modules that were used in the build. Although it doesn't show the interior of the Seatruck or the mobile vehicle bay used to build it, fans are able to see a few modules with slightly different external appearances, perhaps most notably the glass aquarium module attached to the end of the vehicle.

This impressive design shows off a huge amount of detail, appearing to be a near-perfect replica of the in-game Seatruck. Complete with the external lights, boosters, and even module rails which are used to push each module around when separated from the vehicle, this Seatruck module also appears to use the same default white and navy-blue colors that are used in Subnautica's bases and vehicles.

Since the Seatruck was introduced as a replacement for the much larger, industrial Cyclops submarine which was removed due to Subnautica: Below Zero's more limiting map design, fans were originally quite upset that one of their favorite vehicles would be absent in the sequel. In the time since the game's launch last year, it would seem that Subnautica: Below Zero's new design choices and features have gradually gained the favor of fans, Seatruck included.

Subnautica: Below Zero is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
