Guns are one of the most commonly used weapons, and they give their users an edge as they can take out their target from a long distance. A gun in the hand of a good marksman can be very potent. And these are some of the strongest anime sharpshooters.

7 Yasopp (One Piece)

Yasopp is a member of the Red Hair Pirates, who are one of the four strongest pirate crews in One Piece. Yasopp had gained a great deal of fame before he even joined the crew. Shanks was so impressed with the rumors about Yasopp's strength that he personally sought him out.

Presently, it is very difficult to gauge Yasopp's strength as the Red Hair Pirates have barely been involved in any major fight. However, if one were to believe Luffy's statement, Yasopp has never missed a single shot in his life. Plus, Yasopp boasts that he can hit the antenna of an ant from 100 feet away without harming the rest of its body. It goes without saying that it would be an absolutely incredible feat for any sharpshooter.

6 Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop)

Spike is the lead character of the exceptional Cowboy Bebop series. He was an extremely well-known bounty hunter, who traveled on Jet Black's Bebop. Before becoming a bounty hunter, Spike used to be a member of the Red Dragon Crime Syndicate.

It was during his time in the organization that he developed into a very apt fighter, who was good at fighting both with and without weapons. As a bounty hunter, Spike often ended up chasing his targets, and when he couldn't get close to them, he had to rely on his marksmanship. 5 Vash (Trigun)

Vash is one of the most well-known anime sharpshooters. He is the lead protagonist of Trigun. With a bounty of $60,000,000,000, Vash is the most wanted man in the world. He has been associated with disasters as he leaves a great deal of destruction in his wake.

Vash carries several weapons, but his most commonly used weapon is a revolver that shoots .45 Long Colt ammunition. Despite his reputation for being a fearsome man, Vash hardly ever shoots to kill. His marksmanship allows him to shoot his targets at points that would incapacitate them. Another example of his shooting prowess is the fact that he managed to change the trajectory of a car with just three shots.

4 Guido Mista (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure)

Guido Mista used to be a part of Bruno Bucciarati's gang. He was one of the few people, who decided to follow Bruno to the very end. Like the other members of Bucciarati's gang, Mista too is a Stand user. Mista's Stand is called Sex Pistols, which is a long-range Stand.

Unlike most Stands, Sex Pistols do not have a single humanoid body. Instead, the Stand is made up of six small entities. The Sex Pistols enhance Mista's shooting abilities by quite some margin. They can control the direction of bullets, so even if Mista's aim is off by an inch, they can put the bullet back on the track. They also have an immensely fast reaction speed, and on one occasion, they stopped three bullets from killing Mista.

3 Duke Togo (Golgo 13)

Duke Togo, better known as Golgo 13, is among the best assassins in the anime world. Whenever someone hires Duke Togo, they know that they're getting a cold-hearted and ruthless killer. As an assassin, he is skilled at various weapons, but his biggest asset is sniping.

He was able to shoot a man from over 500 yards through a 2-foot opening, which is unthinkable for even the best marksmen. Such a feat cannot be overlooked, and this lands Duke Togo a spot on the list.

2 Ryo Saeba (City Hunter)

Ryo Saeba was raised to become a killer. After undergoing rigorous training, Ryo became an incredible marksman with no apparent weakness. As brilliant as Ryo is in hand-to-hand combat, his skill with guns far surpasses it.

Over time, Ryo mastered the art of shooting to the point that he could shoot the same spot on his target repeatedly. An example of Ryo's sharpshooting is when he managed to hit a person across the subway platform and through a passing train.

1 Alucard (Hellsing)

When someone thinks of Alucard, they picture him as a bloodthirsty demon who ravages anything in his path. However, there is a more human side to Alucard where he fights using firearms instead of his supernatural abilities.

Throughout Hellsing, Alucard was seen handling two guns to get the better of his opponents; one was the Casull and the other was called the Jackal. The Casull weighs 4 kg and the Jackal weighs 16 kg, which makes it impossible for any ordinary human to wield them, but then again Alucard is the furthest thing from ordinary, so it was completely normal for him. With the help of these two weapons, Alucard can decimate a very large population of ghouls without any problems.
