Capcom has released a new trailer for the much anticipated fighting game cross-over Street Fighter X Tekken, announcing and showcasing the playability of several familiar faces that fans of both series will instantly recognize.

The official confirmation of these characters aren't by any means shocking for those who have been following the progress of Street Fighter X Tekken since it was first announced, but that doesn't make them any less satisfying.

Favorites from the Street Fighter franchise such as Balrog, Juri, and Vega are now officially part of the playable roster, and Tekken veterans Paul, Law, and Xiaoyu will also be joining in on the fray. Xiaoyu was accidentally confirmed along with M. Bison in a recent screenshot, so an official confirmation of the villainous M. Bison can't be that far behind either.

All of the previously mentioned characters, plus a few others, featured in Street Fighter X Tekken can be seen doing what they do best below.

These roster additions are swell and all, but those who stick around long enough to catch the very end of the trailer will notice a teaser for a couple of previously unannounced combatants. The two silhouettes that appear at the end of the trailer look like none other than Namco Bandai's Pac-Man and Capcom's Mega Man (in some form or another), but the catch is that it seems both characters will be exclusive to the PS Vita version of the game.

We already know that InFamous' protagonist Cole MacGrath will be an exclusive character in the Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken, but the potential inclusion of Mega Man and Pac-Man is a bit of a shock to the system. Still, it'll be interesting to see just how these two characters will look when they attempt to pummel the likes of Ryu.

Hopefully these two characters venture to consoles and don't remain Vita exclusives, but their inclusion is a notable regardless of which platform they appear on.

Alright, everyone is now free to question just why would Capcom make Mega Man a playable character in SFXT, and not even bother including him in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
