Mediatonic announces that another set of crossover cosmetics will be coming to the multiplayer battle platformer, Fall Guys. These cosmetics are based on Capcom's classic fighting game franchise, Street Fighter, which will be a part of Fall Guys' third season. This allows fans to dress up their beans as some classic characters from the franchise with special costumes, and it will be obtainable very soon. The third season for Fall Guys kicked off earlier on November 22, known as Sunken Secrets, an aquatic and oceanic theme. While Street Fighter isn't exactly an aquatic-themed series, the game is no stranger to crossovers. Last year saw a bunch of costume collaborations with Sonic the Hedgehog, Cuphead, with costumes based on some fan-favorite characters. This latest collaboration with Capcom is no exception, adding three costumes based on some iconic fighters from the franchise.RELATED: Street Fighter 6 Developers Want To Do A Crossover With DC or Marvel ComicsThis collaboration was announced on the game's official Twitter account, revealing these costumes to be based on the wandering warrior Ryu, the deadly Killer Bee Cammy, and the villainous martial artist Akuma. These costumes are based on their classic arcade appearances from Street Fighter 2, which gives players the chance to dress up in Ryu and Akuma's martial artist gis, or Cammy's leotard and beret. These costumes will make their debut this weekend starting November 26, where gamers can purchase them from the in-game store.

The official website also notes that there will be an emote added with these costumes as well, where the beans can pull off some of Ryu's special attacks. This includes the Hadouken, Shoryuken, and the Tatsumaki Senpukyaku as emotes, with their own voice clips that come with them. Moreover, Fall Guys will be providing nameplates based on the character select portraits of Ryu, Cammy, and Akuma from the arcade version of Street Fighter 2 as well.

The timing of this collaboration is quite appropriate, considering Street Fighter celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2022, along with the sixth numbered mainline entry coming out next year as well. Street Fighter 6 is one of Capcom's most anticipated releases, with early impressions from fans and beta players being very positive. This collaboration with Fall Guys is seeing similar positive feedback from fans, with some eager to try and earn these cosmetics. Others are hoping more crossovers costumes based on other iconic Street Fighter characters like Chun-Li, Guile, or Ken can be added as well.

Fall Guys is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
