Street Fighter 6 launches with four special editions, including a Standard version with pre-order bonuses. But the Deluxe, Ultimate, and Collector’s Editions offer much more content, notably a Year-One Pass for Capcom’s upcoming DLCs. However, Street Fighter 6 fans want to know how these special and pre-order editions differ and which one’s the best bang for their buck.

Mad Gear Box is Street Fighter 6’s Collector’s Edition that comes with an artbook, sticker set, figures, and digital perks. But it’s a GameStop-exclusive release, and players will need to check with their local stores to get one.

Out of all four editions of SF6, the Collector’s version offers the least value for the buyer’s money. It’s a $249.99 box with mediocre merchandise that only hardcore fans would appreciate.

Here’s the complete list of Collector’s Edition content:

  • 4 additional characters (Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma)
  • The One-Year Ultimate Pass
  • 2 Pop Up Parade Figures (Luke & Kimberly)
  • A pack of Street Fighter stickers
  • A Street Fighter 6 artbook
  • A figure diorama board
  • All digital perks of other editions

Ultimate Edition

The Ultimate Edition is a digital-exclusive release that contains every perk of the Deluxe version, with the only difference being its Year-One Pass. While the Deluxe Edition gives players a character-limited yearly pass, the Ultimate gives them access to all DLCs lined up for 2023-2024. So, by purchasing this copy of the game, players will be able to download four additional characters and get other paid content at no extra cost for a year.

Considering the Ultimate Edition’s $104.99 price tag, it is not the ideal option for an average fighting game fan. However, gamers who intend to play the game for an extended period will enjoy the additional content available in 2023 and 2024.

Here’s the complete list of Ultimate Edition perks:

  • Year-One Ultimate Pass
  • 4 extra characters (Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma)
  • Outfit 1 with Colors 3-10 (for 4 characters)
  • Outfit 2 with Colors 1-10 (for 4 characters)
  • Outfit 3 with Colors 1-10 (for 4 characters)
  • 2 extra stages
  • 7,700 Drive Tickets

Street Fighter 6’s Standard Edition includes a free next-generation upgrade for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. But players who pre-order this version—before June 2—will also receive a pack of special titles and stickers along with the Outfit 1 with color 10 for Jamie, Chun-Li, Juri, Ken, Manon, and Dee Jay.

As stated on SF6’s official website, the pre-order and limited-time bonuses may become available through different means at a later date. And Capcom will likely release basic outfits for free in the upcoming updates. So, players unsure about the game’s early state might want to hold off on purchasing it and wait for the first few patches.

Here's what’s included in the Pre-Order Edition:

  • A pack of special titles
  • A pack of special stickers
  • Outfit 1 with Color 10 for Jamie, Chun-Li, Juri, Ken, Manon, and Dee Jay

Deluxe Edition

Despite lacking the Ultimate Pass, the Deluxe Edition offers the best value for players’ money. For $84.99, it offers the four DLC characters that most SF6 fans crave, plus all the crucial digital perks such as the initial Drive Tickets, outfits, and colors.

Street Fighter lovers who want to compete in the Battle Hub for at least a year and participate in the upcoming events will benefit the most from this edition. It gives them access to all year-one fighters with enough in-game currency to customize their Hub character.

Here’s what’s included in the SF6’s Deluxe Edition:

  • Special titles & stickers
  • 4 DLC characters (Rashid, A.K.I., Ed, and Akuma)
  • Outfit 1 with Colors 3-10 for four characters
  • 4,200 Drive Tickets

The DLC characters don’t have an exact release date. But Capcom has confirmed that Rashid will hit the game in the Summer of 2023, A.K.I. in the Autumn of 2023, Ed in the Winter of 2023, and Akuma in the Spring of 2024.

Street Fighter 6 is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
