Capcom reveals a set of alternate color costumes for Street Fighter 6 that are available as a bonus for players who pre-order the game. The upcoming fighting game has been a highly anticipated release for 2023, with Capcom doing quite a bit to market this fresh take on the franchise. From new gameplay mechanics to a high amount of customization and accessibility options, Street Fighter 6 has been garnering a lot of positivity in the last few months. This high continued with a recent trailer for the game that was dropped at The Game Awards 2022 showcase.

This latest trailer for Street Fighter 6 showed off a number of activities within the game's new World Tour Mode, including minigames, locations, and a number of characters that will be a part of the roster. This includes a returning Dee Jay along with newcomers such as Manon, Marisa, and JP. Most importantly, however, the trailer also showed off the game's release date, letting fans know that the game is now available for pre-order. Shortly after this trailer dropped, Capcom revealed bonus costumes that will be included for pre-orders of this game.

These were showcased in a new trailer from the game's official channel and are available for six characters in the game, Chun-Li, Dee Jay, Jamie, Manon, Juri, and Ken. These costumes for Street Fighter 6 give different color palettes for each fighter that are based on their default costumes. Chun-Li gets a red-and-black makeover for her default costume, while Jamie gets mainly black attire, with his hair dyed white.

Dee Jay also gets in on the fun with a black-and-pink variation of his costume, while French fashionista newcomer Manon has a more red-and-purple attire, with her hair also dyed purple. This costume makes her bear a resemblance to another Street Fighter character, Rose. Juri gets a white-and-blue variation to her usual attire, while Ken gets a red jacket with his hair also dyed white. Many fans have compared Ken's variation in particular to Dante from the Devil May Cry series due to how similar they look.

According to Capcom, these costumes are the tenth color variation for the first outfit for each of these characters. It also states that these colors will be added to Street Fighter 6 at a later date after launch. More colors and alternate costumes like these are likely going to be revealed in the future, considering the additional outfits for characters like Luke, or the classic costumes for returning veterans like Ryu.

Street Fighter 6 launches for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on June 2, 2023.
