Sometimes episode titles can hint at the action, and episode 8 of Stranger Things season 4 is called "Papa," with the season finale (episode 9) being called "The Piggyback." Since Eleven always called Dr. Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) "Papa," it seems like episode 8 will focus on him, and it's very possible that Eleven will kill him. He has been doing awful things for too long, and it feels like Eleven will never find a way to get away from him, as even though she was living with Hopper in Hawkins, she finds herself at a silo remembering the old days when she was just a test subject. With so many big things happening in volume 1 of Stranger Things season 4, it definitely seems like the last two episodes will deliver massive surprises and powerful moments.

Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink) in season 4 of Stranger Things

Fans were upset to learn that Max and Lucas broke up on Stranger Things, as Sadie Sink and Caleb McLaughlin's characters had such a sweet relationship and a great bond. At the beginning of the season, Lucas calls Max "a ghost" as she has been hiding from her friends while processing her grief after her brother Billy's (Dacre Montgomery) death. Now that Max's friends have helped save her from Vecna, it's possible that Max and Lucas will reunite because she will realize that he still cares about her and it's okay for her to try to move on a little bit. Max has definitely gone through a journey of growth in these seven episodes and fans have seen her grow close to her friends once again.

Eleven's friends will definitely find her, and the reunion will be sweet and special, especially since several of the characters have been dealing with Vecna, one of the most terrifying Stranger Things creatures. Fans think that Eleven most likely has her powers back since she has remembered what happened at the Hawkins Lab and realized that she wasn't responsible for all of those horrible and violent deaths. With her powers back, Eleven will likely battle Vecna and win... or at least win for now. Fans know that beating the monsters of the Upside Down is anything but easy.

Season 4 has a great new character in Argyle (Eduardo Franco), and Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) is solid, too. It's possible that Eddie will die before season 4 is over. There is often one big swing in the season finales of Stranger Things, and that often includes a character death, like when Billy's life comes to an end in season 3. If Vecna does claim another victim, it could be Eddie since it most likely wouldn't be someone who is part of the main friend group. It's also possible that Vecna will kidnap Eddie and trap him in the Upside Down, setting up season 5.

Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) in season 4 of Stranger Things

The Stranger Things season 4 finale is long and since the episode is more than two hours, that gives the show a lot of room to set up season 5. All fans want is to see the friends back together again, having fun and forgetting about the trauma that they have been through. It's possible that the final moments of season 4 will include Eleven and her friends having a great time in Hawkins, as if they are just normal high schoolers who don't have a care in the world. Then the show might allude to Vecna still being around and the fight not being over.

Fans would love for Joyce to move her family and Eleven back to Hawkins, but no one is sure if that would be a safe, good idea. While it's unclear whether her life in California is over, one thing is for sure: fans are sure to be on the edge of their seats while watching the final two episodes of Stranger Things season 4.
