The hit Netflix series Stranger Things is famous for its incredible character development. The main friend group are all adorable and sweet as Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), and Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) are talented actors who play charming and kind pre-teens.

As Stranger Things will end with season 5 and the show draws to a close, fans can reflect on the characters who they have spent time with and enjoyed watching so much. If there was ever a Stranger Things spin-off, there are a few characters who fans would absolutely love seeing get all of the attention and focus. All of the characters are well-drawn and exciting to watch, as they each have something to add to the sci-fi story, but these three characters in particular deserve to shine on their own.

Eleven

Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven in Stranger Things

Stranger Things fans got a taste of what a show focused on Eleven could be like in the season 2 episode "Chapter Seven: The Lost Sister." While this is a disappointing episode that sees Eleven befriending a group of punk kids who all have powers, it does prove that Eleven is such a strong character (and Millie Bobby Brown such a strong actor) that fans would be thrilled to see a spin-off about Eleven.

It looks like Eleven is in trouble in season 4 of Stranger Things, and fans would definitely watch any show about this sweet and spunky character. Although fans have gotten a lot of good, detailed backstory about Eleven, there's always room for more explanation, and a spin-off about Eleven could explore her past a little bit more.

It would also be cool to create a spin-off that is set a few years in the future as it would be interesting for a spin-off series to take Eleven out of Hawkins, Indiana. It would be great to watch Eleven at college, dealing with her magical powers and wondering how she can be a regular person at the same time.

Erica Sinclair

Priah Ferguson as Erica talking about nerds in Stranger Things

Lucas Sinclair's (Caleb McLaughlin) younger sister Erica (Priah Ferguson) is full of absolutely hilarious quotes. Her character has some of the best writing on the entire series, like when she says, "I'm ten, you bold bastard." Erica is famous for constantly telling the other characters that she's cooler than them as she finds them to be super nerdy, and she also says that America has "Erica" in it, making her a necessary part of the friend group's mission.

Season 4 of Stranger Things should answer questions that fans have, and it would also be awesome if Erica got more screen time, as she lightens the tone of the show which can get heavy sometimes. If there was a spin-off show focused on Erica, fans could see her on her own journey. Erica is tough and full of life and independence, and she could absolutely carry her own series.

Since 10-year-old Erica is so bossy and intelligent, it would be cool to see a few episodes about what she was like when she was even younger. Stranger Things is one of the best Netflix shows and a spin-off about Erica would spotlight this fantastic and funny character. Since she is so hilarious when helping the others at the Stargate Mall, the sky would be the limit with this character. Fans would also love seeing Erica in the future.

Max Mayfield

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Max (Sadie Sink) holding ice cream cones in Stranger Things

Sadie Sink plays a starring role in Fear Street Part 2: 1978 and she's wonderful as Stranger Things character Max Mayfield. Max's stepbrother Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery) is a horrible person and really mean to her, but Max is a tough as nails yet sweet and smart person who feels like she's already an adult. Fans learn that Max loves skateboarding and she soon becomes a big part of the main friend group.

Max would be a perfect character for a Stranger Things spin-off as she's so interesting and fans would love to see more of her. Season 3 of the show feels like a teen movie as the young characters are hanging out together in the summertime, having fun at the mall and generally enjoying the fact that they're growing up.

The spin-off could tell the story of Max's background and her sad family life and how she has become the cool, strong person that she is today. And since Max and Eleven are such good friends, the spin-off could also include some appearances from Eleven, which would be fun for fans. There's a lot to get excited about in the Stranger Things season 4 trailer, so even if a spin-off series never happens, fans are content to watch the last two seasons and see where everyone ends up.
