Given that building relationships with fellow villagers and possible marriage candidates is one of the major gameplay features of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, fans will likely enjoy finding out their perfect match through the fun filter.
With only a few months until the official release date of Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, the devs seem to be at full-speed in bringing the remastered title into modern gaming platforms. The launch period was announced in a cute Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life trailer, giving fans a preview of what to expect when the game is finally out in the market. Now, the new TikTok filter was likely produced in hopes to entice a younger generation of gamers who prefer hanging out on TikTok, and using the platform's feed to gather information about the next games they would like to try.
On the official Marvelous Europe Tiktok account, the team demonstrated how the Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life filter works. In the video, a banner title "Which Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life Marriage Candidate?" appears above the head of the user. The banner then proceeds to shuffle through the different characters in the game, and finally stops at Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life returning character Molly. The video ends with the user encouraging other fans to use the filter, and jokingly using the series' bubble cow to threaten their fellow gamers.
On the game's official Twitter account, the team also shared basic instructions on how to find the TikTok filter on the platform. Users simply need to search the term "story of seasons marriage" in the filter section of TikTok. Comments on both Twitter and TikTok showed the fun and amusement that fans had with the filter, with others sharing who their favorite marriage candidate is on the comments section. One particular commenter on TikTok even asked the devs if they were planning to port other Story of Seasons games, but the account did not confirm anything.
Even though Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life still lacks some features that its modern counterparts, like online multiplayer, it is nice to see that the fans who played the original GameCube and PlayStation 2 titles are still interested in replaying the game on their current gaming platforms. Hopefully all the development team's hard work pays off and this paves the way to more Story of Seasons remakes in the future.
