Steven Universe: Unleash the Light released on Apple Arcade in November of 2019. According to Cartoon Network, the game is now headed to consoles in the near future. Steven Universe has been a beloved animated show since it began airing in 2013, now fans have more ways to enjoy the coming-of-age space-fantasy comedy-drama.

Steven Universe: Unleash the Light is an adventure role-playing game developed by Grumpyface Studios. The game was co-written by Rebecca Sugar, the same woman behind Steven Universe. Many believe that 2D-animated shows are in a golden age right now, and that is in part thanks to Rebecca Sugar and Steven Universe; and other similar shows.

Steven Universe: Unleash the Light will arrive on consoles and Steam on February 19, 2021,  just one week from today. There are many players who enjoyed the gameplay, levels, bosses, characters, plot, locations, and more of Steven Universe: Unleash the Light, but the game being stuck on Apple Arcade made it so that few were able to play it. That is about to change, as it is coming to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Steam.

One of the things that makes Steven Universe special is the fact that it is very progressive, more so than many animated shows. In fact, the idea that the show was so successful on a popular network may have helped with Cartoon Network's recent anti-racism PSA that got a lot of online buzz. Steven Universe: Unleash the Light currently has a 4.2 rating among Apple Arcade players, and time will tell how PC and console players enjoy the RPG.

Steven Universe: Unleash the Light is on Apple Arcade and will release on February 19 on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Steam.
