WWE wrestling has undergone a lot of noise in the past several weeks, not least of which was the return of Vince McMahon following his use of company money to pay off multiple women he had affairs with and counting. Right before her father returned to the WWE, Stephanie McMahon not only stepped down, but followed up by showing off a photo of her recent ankle surgery.

Stephanie McMahon, daughter of wrestling head honcho and recently reinstated demagogue Vince McMahon, posted about her ankle surgery on her Twitter account, thanking her doctors and loved ones for their help.

Stephanie McMahon made headlines when she stepped down from the board of WWE after her father, Vince McMahon, who’s got a huge hush money scandal tagging along behind him (with more women ready to come forward about his extra-marital affairs), returned, prompting outsiders to wonder if her vacating her seat was a part of her father’s proposed plan to sell WWE. If anyone was wondering if she was going to return to the management pool behind the ring anytime soon, her ankle surgery and her dismissive comments about what’s going on behind the scenes seem to end those ideas.

While Vince has returned, the board been upended, talk about the possibility of offloading the whole franchise filling the air, and any number of wrestlers wondering what this means for their futures and contracts, and a recent ankle surgery, Stephanie McMahon described everything like this: “Busy week!” Posting a cheerful enough photo with it, she thanked her doctor, the orthopedic center, her rehab guy, and husband, Triple H, who’s been overseeing the creative direction of the WWE ever since Vince McMahon stepped down previously.

McMahon has yet to reveal what caused the injury, but joint injuries aren’t uncommon for athletes, even years later. The wrestling community came together for her, with Dana Brooke from Raw wishing McMahon a speedy recovery and Santas Escobar of SmackDown putting up a praying emoji. Kofi Kingston had the most to say, noting that he’d gone to the same surgeon that she listed, a Dr. Waldrop, finishing with, “You are [sic] great hands! Godspeed on your recovery!” If anyone was curious whether McMahon would be striding the halls of the WWE anytime again soon, however, her foot in a thick cast shuts that idea down.
