As far as most space exploration games go, Stellaris has been around for about five years now and comfortably cemented itself within the genre. As a strategy game, Stellaris allows players to build elaborate empires in the galaxy.

Not only that, but fans of the game can take it a step further and implement Console Commands and Cheats into the game for a bonus. The way to start it up is to press the "`" key or "Shift + Alt + C" on QWERTY keyboards. If that doesn't work, try pressing "Shift 2, Alt+2+1, or Shift+3."

These codes allow for gamers to apply a vast amount of different effects to their game. For Stellaris fans looking to try out new things on their game files, here is a list of some of the different commands.

Most of these in-game cheat codes require different information that can be found on the ID page in the game. There are certain Species, Leader, Empire, and Pop IDs made when the game is created and can also be found with the "debugtooltip" command.

The activate_ascension_perk code allows gamers to activate a specific ascension perk, and pressing tab reveals the different names. The add_anomaly code allows players to add certain anomalies to different celestial bodies. The add_opinion code raises a targeted empire's opinion of the player's empire by a pre-determined amount, the base amount being 40. The add_ship code creates an entire fleet of a ship of choice. However, juggernauts spawned this way sadly are not able to build, upgrade, or make repairs on ships.

The build_pops code allows for players to make a certain amount of robot pops on a planet. However, this only works if the empire on the planet is evolved enough to have the technology to build robot pops. The colonize code initiates the colonization process of a planet by copying the pop id of a different planet. The communications code allows gamers to set up communication systems between all empires. The cash code adds a certain amount of Energy Credits to the gamer's empire, the default amount being 5,000.

The effect add_building = code adds a certain building to the planet, but if gamers add multiple unique buildings, they will be removed after a month. The effect add_deposit = code adds certain resource deposits or planetary features to a celestial body. The effect add_planet_devastation = code gives a celestial body a certain amount of devastation; putting a negative amount into the code removes devastation.

It is important to note that these codes are not available for the console version of Stellaris. Hopefully, this gives longtime fans the ability to experience the game in a new way and intrigue new fans enough to purchase the PC version.

Stellaris: Nemesis is currently available to download on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
