As has become an annual tradition for the digital storefront, Steam's Summer Sale has officially arrived, offering massive discounts on hundreds of PC games. The promotion will run from today until July 8 at 10:00 AM PT and, much like last year's "Points Shop" meta event, it comes complete with a collectible-focused side activity for players to enjoy while netting themselves some huge savings.

This time around, Steam invites players to an event known as "Forge Your Fate," offering customers fourteen choose your own adventure stories that can be found during the sale. Players will be asked to pick one of two options during these tales, with their answer netting them an animated sticker as a memento. It's sure to appeal to avid collectors of Steam's animated stickers, offering them a host of new collectibles to chase down over the next fortnight.
